Interested and qualified applicants please apply at romanegc.com Romane Construction is looking for a full time Framing Carpenter to join our construction team. In this position, you will work on new builds and remodel construction projects. In this role, you will work in teams and individually, select the materials, cut the pieces of wood to the right length, and follow the blueprints as you piece together the structure. In some cases, you may also perform repair old woodwork, install doors, windows and floors. We are looking for a reliable individual with excellent workmanship. REQUIREMENTS QUALIFICATIONS: • High school diploma or GED certificate • Ability to multi-task • Minimum 2 years construction experience • Reading blue prints • Critical-thinker and problem-solver and attention to detail • Proven knowledge of construction operations and equipment • Physical stamina to perform physical tasks in various weather conditions • Must have own basic hand tools • A valid driver’s license RESPONSIBLITIES: Erect the basic structure of a building or other construction project, by interpreting drawings from architects, engineers and foremen, and applying that information to the creation of a sturdy structure that meets all necessary building codes. • Read blue prints to verify correct installation of materials and the layout of walls, windows and doors. • Participate in broad range of projects to include roofing, excavation, siding, gutters, and installation of replacement windows. • Assist with rough in /installations of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC mechanical systems • Construct metal walls, soffits, ceilings, and fire chases to protect air conditioning systems. • Frame, hang board, install FRP, install doors and hardware, build acoustic ceilings, install ceiling tiles • Light demo clean up and organization of construction materials • Perform all other duties as assigned ABOUT ROMANE CONSTRUCTION: We’re are continuously building a team that strives to make a difference – on our projects and in our local community.
