Joseph Decuis in Roanoke is looking for passionate line cooks to join our award-winning team! This position will be for a Line/Prep Cook. A passion for farm raised ingredients such as our famous Wagyu beef, a willingness to learn and grow, and a positive attitude are a must. We offer a 5-day work week and learning from some of the most talented chefs in the Midwest.
Job Qualifications:
-Basic Knife Skills
-Previous Kitchen Experience Preferred
-Ability to follow and scale recipes
-Understanding of food safety practices
-Knowledge of how to prepare basic sauces, dressings, and cooking techniques
Job Requirements:
-Daily preparation of rotating menu items
-Maintain a clean and organize work station
-Communicate with Executive and Sous Chef's for daily tasks, prep lists, catering lists, etc
-Work with cooks to execute dinner service, special, events, wine dinners, farm dinners
