PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP, PA — The Plumstead Township Police Department reported the following incidents between March 8 and March 14, 2021. March 8 At 3:32 p.m., a disorderly customer at B&B Beverages on Saw Mill Road was asked to leave the business. The man left without confrontation after police arrived. March 9 At 5:53 a.m., officers investigated a man passed out in his vehicle on Easton Road. The man showed signs of a drug overdose, and officers administered one dose of Narcan successfully. Officers informed the man of the Supporting Treatment and Recovery (S.T.A.R.) Program, but he refused help. He was then taken to a local hospital for a medical evaluation. At 2:55 p.m. officers conducted a speed detail on the Route 611 Bypass northbound. One written warning and three citations were issued. At 3:50 p.m., officers investigated a call from a business owner in reference to a broken statue in their parking lot on Saw Mill Road. The person responsible was identified by video footage obtained from the business owner. The person admitted to causing the damage and promised not to return to the property. March 10 At 10:42 p.m., officers served an involuntary commitment for an emergency evaluation and treatment for a person who was showing signs of danger to himself or others. The man was taken to a local hospital for mental health evaluation. March 11 At 4:12 p.m., officers investigated a dispute between a father and son on Roseberry Drive. The son acknowledged being physical toward his father and expressed remorse. Officers were able to mediate the dispute without further incident. At 5:15 p.m., officers responded to a call for a missing teenager near Stump Road. Bucks County Juvenile Probation had an active arrest warrant for the minor. He was taken into custody. March 12 At 10:34 a.m., officers investigated a verbal dispute between an employee and customer on Swamp Road. The male customer was said to be acting out inside the business and filming other customers using his cellphone. Officers were able to mediate the dispute and the customer agreed to leave the business. No further action was taken. March 13 At 10 a.m., officers performed a traffic stop for speeding near the intersection of Durham Road and Stump Road. The driver was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. The incident is under investigation. At 4:52 p.m., officers investigated an incident where an adult woman had a change in her mental status on Spit Log Drive. The woman was transported to a local hospital for evaluation. March 14 At 3:16 a.m., officers responded to a call for a man in cardiac arrest due to a possible overdose in the area of Ferry Road. Plumsteadville EMS responded and administered Narcan before transporting him to a local hospital. Officers provided the male with a S.T.A.R. packet. At 8:50 p.m., officers responded to a home on Curly Hill Road for a small chimney fire. The fire company was at the scene and the fire was quickly extinguished.
