Open position for a mid-Level CCTV technician and/or an eager beginner looking to learn the trade. Position can be part time or full time. We are a provider of closed circuit television (CCTV) and Low Voltage technology solutions in the greater Colorado Springs, Pueblo, and Denver area. Our business is expanding tremendously, and we are looking for qualified technicians to immediately join us. Key qualifications: The candidate will be responsible for physically installing and maintaining CCTV Security Systems. Familiarity with equipment such as Hikvision, Dahua, Uniview, etc, desirable. General experience installing and configuring video cameras, access controls, data networks, audio surveillance equipment and recording devices. Ideally the technician would have his or her own transportation (travel cost will be reimbursed outside of the home area). The position requires you to be very comfortable on ladders and lifts; the job is physically demanding and you must be able to carry and climb ladders, lift and pull cable (RJ45 and RG59), and be active on your feet for most of the day. We provide solutions in mostly commercial properties but do some residential. We do primarily new construction but some existing buildings, and remodels are part of the job. An ideal candidate will be trustworthy, reliable, highly motivated, able work independently and as part of a team. A good work ethic, positive attitude, respectfulness and professionalism are a must. Experiences & Requirements The CCTV technicians must have two to three years of relevant experience in installations, troubleshooting, assembling, disassembling, and configuring, relevant CCTV system hardware and electronic devices to include video cameras, audio surveillance equipment and access control equipment. The technician must have experience working with software/hardware and a knowledge of computer networks, including security functions and design, network and software protocols, Ubiquity network equipment, copper-based networks, as well as configuring, diagnosing, and testing all related security hardware.
