Ideal for volunteers, families and individuals, lend a hand at this litter cleanup and beautification event at the new West Meadows trail. Trail improvements at this environmental remediation site were completed in fall 2020. This peaceful, natural setting includes rolling hills, winding trail, native feel and creek. TYPE OF WORK: Litter cleanup will be lighter, all-ages physical work. PARKING: Limited parking at the trailhead on North Fort Avenue. More parking at the Route 66 Roadside Park (1201 W. College Street). WHAT TO WEAR: Wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes or boots that you don't mind getting muddy or wet. Work gloves or garden gloves recommended. Please fill out a Clean Green waiver form.
