Description
I'm into making good jams, recording them and refining them. I'd be into original takes on covers, but I'm not into the cover band thing. I like players who have some basic working musical knowledge, perhaps a fine ear; I'm less concerned about chops....but drummers who can keep a beat, instrument players that can discern (most) majors from minors, or sharps from flats, that stuff is kinda important, ya know? Occasionally play a note in response to another player's note that you may not have tried too often before? Maybe you've tried them all.....sure....everyone here's a good liar, I'm sure....a great musical lie is making a mistake on the key/fretboard and running with it. It'll be recorded, and can be deciphered later if it sounds good....ya know? the kids call it art...or garbage....the great thing is: you only have to be "SO" good to make good music, know some basics. I'm looking for anyone doing anything interesting.....most of you are on the South Shore, which is too bad...for me. I'm looking to keep a commute with 20 miles of Burlington, MA- Boston/north, Framingham/east, Nashua/south, where one can easily park for free. I'll be offering my basement (NO SMOKING) once you people get vaccinated (I already am) for weekend afternoon/night jams. Too many werdz? I'm looking for: -a drummer who WANTS TO try hitting different drums in a different sequence occasionally -a bassist -another writer, (predominantly electric) guitar player or any melodic/lead instrument player...maybe even a vocalist/lyricist, what da hekk?!? ***having "a sound" should be of (just about) NO concern. We will sound like us, the players; probably not groundbreaking or revolutionary, but we should TRY to avoid being posers....especially since money is not going to dictate any path. Ask for samples. Send samples. I'm not into any metal//djent/bro rock/military propaganda screamo rock. I'm not interested in a strictly "folky" americana-country sound.
