We are currently looking for a 1st Shift Material Handler-Receiving.  The hours are 6:30 am-3:00 pm.In this position, you will have the following responsibilities:Provide material handling that meets company standards for safety, security, and productivity Unload incoming freight, verify quantity and quality, repackage, label, and locate all products Receive product amounts into inventory by on-line receipt using an AS400 computer or other technology Complete any documentation or computer transactions to track product and work flow Disburse raw materials to the appropriate machine in a timely manner as assigned Support department with indirect tasks as instructed Operate powered material handling equipment Assist other areas of VC/Manufacturing as volume dictatesQualifications: Prior forklift experienceExperience with computer, tablet, and data entry is a plus Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally Ability to stand for 6-8 hours per day Ability to use both hands for fine manipulation, grasping, pushing and pulling At least 1 year of inventory/distribution center experience Ability to work comfortably in high places In addition to a progressive wage plan, Demco offers a wide variety of family-friendly benefits to aid in your personal and professional growth.
