DEARBORN, MI – City officials have shared updated rules for garage sales as warmer weather approaches. In order to host garage sales, a permit must be obtained from the City Clerk's Office and it must be valid for up to three consecutive days. Residents may have up to four garage sales per year. Permits cost $10 for the first, $15 for the second, $20 for the third and $25 for the fourth. Hosts and customers must wear masks over their mouth and nose and must practice social distancing, officials said.
