Chemistry in Cosmetics: Lipstick Making 101 is a class for students grades 5th-12th with interests in creating beauty products!
MySpaceLaboratories is working to increase the retention of students especially girls in STEAM related fields through alternative exploration. Hence our Chemistry in Cosmetics series! We have worked with over 2500+ students in the last two year with hopes of reaching 20,000 plus kiddos in the next 5 years. Our founder Alyssa Space is a Chemistry graduate from Michigan State University with a successful cosmetic line called ForHerCosmetics, that she formulated herself in her mother's kitchen in summer of 2017. Now in her own lab space she teaches the next generation of beauty scientists the basics.
