Hair Stylist Volunteer for Hospice Patients

Hospice patients are most often confined to their residence and cannot get out for a haircut any longer. If you're a licensed stylist who would enjoy the opportunity to give back once a month to members of our communities during their end-of-life journey, we would love for you to join our hospice volunteer family. Provide a much needed haircut to a patient-it may be their last haircut. Just a haircut is what's needed, no wash, etc. Visits for the haircuts can most often be at your schedule. The hospice will provide you a 2 step TB test and minor physical free of charge and 4 hours of training and orientation. Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) will be provided to you if you'd like it. Now that pandemic restrictions are beginning to be eased this is the perfect time to join our volunteer family. Please call for more details. It's easy and rewarding to be a hospice volunteer.
