RSVP for Maundy Thursday worship at Plainfield United Methodist Church in Plainfield, IN. The Maundy, or Holy, Thursday worship, marks when Jesus brought his disciples together for the Last Supper. Based on an early Christian service of worship called Tenebrae ( Latin word for "darkness" or "shadows."), In a small way, tonight's worship will seek to remember and draw close to Christ's pain and suffering the day of his crucifixion.---- In order to make sure we are we doing all within our power to keep our church family safe, we are adapting a registration system for Sunday morning worship services. As of now, our past in-person attendance numbers were below the capacity of worship space, but this system will help us to better monitor what our in-person attendance numbers may be. This event is for the 7:00 pm Maundy Thursday worship. Please only reserve tickets for those members of your family who will be IN THE SANCTUARY.
