Have you been feeling sad, blue, or down? Have you lost interest in activities you normally enjoy? Mclean Hospital researchers seek volunteers to see the effect of attention training in relation to symptoms of depression and brain activation. The study includes four sessions and a four week training period including 10-20 minutes of audio-guided lessons per day. If eligible to participate, you can receive up to $768.
We are seeking right-handed individuals, 18-55 years old, with depression to participate in four study sessions, for a total of up to 20 hours. During the study you will be interviewed by research staff, have two MRI and three EEG exams, provide blood samples, play a computer game, and fill out questionnaires.
If you are interested in participating, please complete the following screening survey: https://redcap.partners.org/redcap/surveys/?s=LK3KC7NRKR.
If you would rather speak on the phone, you can email Katie at
. Please include your phone number and some good times to reach you, and researchers will contact you to conduct a preliminary phone screen and to provide more information about the study.
