FULL TIME PUNCH PRESS MACHINE OPERATOR POSITIONS are available in Skokie, IL in Tenneco-DRiV (formerly Federal-Mogul). CV-19 Worker Safety measures include: - Daily Health Screenings & Temperature Checks - Specialized PPE provided (e.g. masks, shields, gloves, etc) - Social Distancing & Daily Safety Updates Job Responsibilities Machine operator positions include: Metallic or Paper Punch Press Operations. - Set-up and operate press, coater, digital scales and small press equipment. - Handle, inspect, move and package pieces and parts by hand, conveyor or by using hand-truck. - Inspect and identify process, material or Punch Press Machine Operator equipment problems. - Read and interface with tools and Punch Press Machine Operator mechanical equipment. - Complete Punch Press Machine Operator paperwork specific to work area. - Follow Quality Management System requirements as outlined in work instructions; suggest ways for continual improvement. - Maintain clean and orderly work area. - Report personal injuries & unsafe Punch Press Machine Operator conditions Must be able to pass drug & background checks. All positions require ability to lift 30-50 lbs. Must be able to stand for shift duration (8 or 10 hours). Manual dexterity. Regularly required to reach, bend and stoop for objects. Perform repetitive movements with arms and hands while upright. Must be able to read, speak, & comprehend English.
