Experienced Construction Laborer Work for an established contractor! We have an immediate opening! We work in Glen Ellyn, Wheaton, Aurora, Plainfield, Naperville, Chicago and surrounding areas. Residential and commercial projects: Additions, Remodels, New Construction MUST have general construction experience, be motivated, hardworking and available to start immediately. We require: Good People Skills and Positive Attitude. Attention to detail Hard working, dependable, honest and eager to learn 2 plus years experience in the construction industry (experience in remodeling a plus) Interested in learning carpentry skills Neat appearance. Present yourself well to clients Organized and detail oriented Good physical condition, ability to lift 100+ lbs. Not afraid to get dirty on the job High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation (work vehicle preferred) Clear background checks & drug testing Provide past work references English proficient Position requirements: Assist our carpenters as directed Work safely with power tools, ladders, tape measures, etc. Must have tool belt and basic carpentry tools Follow directions and complete tasks accurately and efficiently Maintain clean and safe job site conditions Take on any and all tasks you are assigned Uphold company standards and work practices Accurately record labor hours/job tasks on time sheets Pay rate will be based on experience and motivation.
