Clearwater Construction is currently accepting resumes and applications for Skilled Heavy/Highway Concrete Laborers and Finishers for our Boise, Idaho location. We are an established mid-sized regional Heavy Construction Company expanding into the Treasure Valley market. 5 years of experience is preferred for the Finisher positions but a hard-working laborer of any amount of experience will be considered. Ideally you will enjoy construction work and its fast-paced environment. The work is outdoors in various weather conditions. Travel may be required in the future and will be compensated, but the work for 2021 is local to Boise. Starting pay $35.00 per hour for Laborers, $43.00 per hour for Finishers DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES: LABORER: • Laborers will perform all duties and labor required in assisting with the forming, placing and finishing of concrete. • Laborers will also perform physical labor tasks such as, shoveling, run chipping hammer, pressure washer, removing debris. • Laborers will spread and level concrete using rakes, shovels, hand tools. FINISHER: • Finisher will use small hand screeds, bull floats, brooms and hand tine. • Some form setting and removing for concrete and other non-machine tasks. • Must be able to finish concrete to grades. • Must adhere to safety practices and work under the direct supervision of the Foreman and/or Superintendent. GENERAL JOB REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to operate light machinery such saws and drills. • Self-starter with ability to work in a team environment. • Must maintain a clean jobsite. • Clean driving record Clearwater Construction is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
