Is your son or daughter in a band that could use some direction and inspiration? My name is Bailey Cecil and I have been a music instructor in Boulder since 2000. I have had the privilege to work with many great teen bands of all levels and styles, including the local supergroup Overt Defiance. I have also taught bands at the Doghouse Music Summer Rock Camp, and attended Musicians Institute way back in 1999. I love working with kids and have a knack for gaining the trust needed to help them grow as musicians and learning the essence of playing together as a unit. I also have a background in songwriting if they are interested playing more than cover songs. Here's how it works, I can come to your rehearsal space for 1-2 hours per week and I charge $20 per student per hour. I play drums, guitar, bass, and sing so I can help all members involved. The goal is to put together a set that is worthy of performance, especially for events like the Boulder Creek Fest, or simply playing a party for family and friends. If the band is already advanced and hoping to play pro stages along the front range I can help them on that level as well. Referrals available, email back if your interested, thanks and LET'S ROCK!
