Class D Logistics LLC. hub in Janesville, WI is looking for independent contractors to deliver over the road expedited freight.   *DOES NOT REQUIRE A CDL* This opportunity is perfect for a road warrior that loves to be on the go. If you are ready for a change from the normal 9am to 5pm and you are a hard worker who is willing to be on a road up to 3 weeks, we want to hear from you. Only SERIOUS applicants apply. Success in this position will be determined by your flexibility, organization, and ability to multi-task. As an Expeditor, you will drive a RAM PROMASTER CITY Cargo Van to deliver or pick-up freight. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service as well as following all applicable laws and safety regulations. COURIER RESPONSIBILITIES: Inspecting and maintaining vehicle supplies and equipment to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition Reporting any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles maintaining records, such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements, in accordance with regulations maintain on average 2500 to 3500 miles per week (48 states) Driver would need to be willing to drive throughout the afternoon/evening and possibly overnight, if needed. JOB REQUIREMENTS- Must be out on the road 14 to 21 days at a time- Must Be at least 25 years of age- Must successfully complete background check and drug screen and DOT Physical- Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently- Must own a smartphone with internet- Must have valid driver’s license- Must be able to drive at night Must be punctual, professional, dependable, and responsible Must have clean driving record, no speeding tickets, or violations in the last 3 years, NO DUI or reckless driving etc. in the last 5 years Must be flexible and be able to adapt to last minute schedule changes Must be proactive and be able to make simple but critical decisions on their own Must be mechanically Inclined *Preferred but not required* The more miles you drive, the more money you make!!!!! We provide the cargo van; you just need to drive! Competitive pay – Driver pays for fuel and makes $1,000 to $ 2,000 per week. Direct deposit and weekly pay. Most other expenses and all maintenance are taken care of by the Company. Our drivers get paid 30% of the load’s gross revenue. This is a 1099 independent contractor position.
