Take Part in one of TAMU-CC's Greatest Traditions! Though changes have been made to this event to allow for safe social distancing, the Islander Alumni Association and over 51,000 Alumni are elated to continue this tradition with over 350 individuals receiving their ring this Spring. Dressing in your sharpest attire, ring recipients can choose from one (1) of eight (8) available time slots, where you can be accompanied by up to four (4) guests (including children). Upon arrival of your designated time, you will check-in with our friendly Alumni Relations staff, enter the Performing Arts Center's auditorium, and receive your Islander Ring on-stage, as you hear and watch a video that explains this rich campus tradition. Once your ring is safely around your finger, each group will proceed outside to take part in the Islander Ring wish and celebrate the occasion with multiple designated photo locations. The Islander Ring symbolizes pride, achievement, and university spirit. Receiving your ring during the official Ring Celebration signifies that you are close to becoming a distinguished member of the Islander Alumni Association. Until you graduate, you will wear your ring with the Islanders name facing toward you. Please note, even though the Texas-wide mask mandate has been lifted, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi still requires everyone to wear a face covering while on campus. THE FINE PRINT...Upon reservation, recipients and their guests agree that they are voluntarily attending the event for which this reservation is issued and agrees to follow all TAMU-CC safety protocols. Attendees assume all risks incidental to the event and waives all claims against the event sponsor, facility owner, or issuer. All attendees consent to reasonable examinations and/or searches to ensure compliance. Failure to comply with the facility rules may result in refusal of admission or removal from event. Per TAMU-CC and System policy, all attendees will be required wear face masks and practice safe social distancing from other groups. PLEASE NOTE: Individual MUST put specific contact information relating to all guests. This is used for contact tracing purposes and is REQUIRED. Failure to include correct information may result in forfeiture of time slot.
