Description
WAYLAND, MA — Wayland is planning a hazardous waste college event this spring, where residents can dump items that typically can't go in the regular garbage.
The event will be held on April 24 at the Wayland Department of Public Works site at 66 River Road. However, preregistration for the event will come at the beginning of April, according to the town.
Wayland has not yet released a list of items that will be accepted. But during past events, the town has banned items like latex paint, motor oil and household electronics. The town also typically places limits on the amount of waste — for example 10 gallons of liquid waste and 10 pounds of solid waste.
