Seeking Concrete Batch Plant Operator. Responsibilities: As directed and guided by the Project Manager, the responsibilities of the position include: -Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas. -Uses computer or manual controls, efficiently batches product with proper mix and making necessary raw material adjustments -Understands the proper use of each mix design -Completes customer orders, schedule deliveries, paperwork and small plant maintenance -May run front end loader or other material handling equipment to charge plant with aggregate, sand or other materials; assists plant management as needed with other duties as assigned -Ensures that safety, compliance and environmental requirements are followed at all times -Effectively communicates with the drivers to efficiently complete customer orders; ability to schedule deliveries to meet the customer needs -Ensure mixer and bullet are clean and continually remain in safe and efficient operating condition. -Maintain adequate materials such as rock, sand cement and admixture and fly ash. -Ensure concrete mixes meet 100% total quality requirements; complete all required reports timely and accurately; inform proper personnel of any quality problem that need resolving. -Maintain accurate and current reports as required. -Monitor batch plant cleanliness. -Work with the maintenance department on all preventative maintenance of the mixer/batch plant; perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment. -Have aggregate bins fill and ready for production daily. -Must be able to work nights and/or weekends if necessary.
