The Valle Escondido Homeowners Association, located 12 miles east of Taos off of US 64 between Taos and Angel Fire, has an opening for a Golf Course Superintendent who will also oversee the golf course and water system. The position is full time from approximately May 1 to September 30 and part time for the remainder of the year. We are seeking an individual who can maintain golf course turf and operate and maintain golf course equipment. The individual should have knowledge about grass, weed, and pest control, watering requirements, and sprinkler systems. The position would also require supervising one or two seasonal employees. The position also requires regular testing of the Valle’s water wells with scheduled reports to the state. Applicant must be able to complete and pass the state’s class and test to conduct appropriate tests. State training will be paid for by the Valle. Valle Escondido HOA became an unincorporated development of approximately 145 homes in 1968. The golf course is a 9-hole, walking only course.
