The Custodial Lead is responsible for performing custodial duties, experienced in the care of, tile, and concrete floors; carpets and carpet tiles, minor maintenance and other miscellaneous duties in order to ensure that buildings and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe and sanitary manner.  Also responsible for managerial duties within the Housekeeping Staff. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide leadership and direction for all housekeeping activities at the mall to ensure the highest level of cleanliness for all areasPerform detailed inspections each monthTrain, motivate, coach, counsel and discipline staff membersMaintain a regularly scheduled cleaning programMaintain Housekeeping inventory logsMaintain a Safety culture by performing inspections, leading safety training and maintaining Housekeeping PPEClean and care for buildings and facilities in order to ensure they are maintained in a safe and healthy mannerPerform and/or report minor maintenance repairs and report damages and acts of vandalismOversee Work order system for all Housekeeping tasksAbility to work 6AM - 230PM  Tuesday - Saturday Qualifications: HS DiplomaValid drivers' license and appropriate certifications for equipment operated.At least 1 year previous janitorial experienceAbility to comprehend instructions and understand all Safety rulesAbility to operate equipment and machinery requiring monitoring multiple conditions and making multiple, complex, and rapid adjustments, such as snowplow, sander, dump truck, tractor, front end loader snow blower, shovel, brooms and salt spreaders.Ability to exert moderately heavy (up to 50 pounds) physical effort in moderate to heavy work, typically involving some combination of climbing and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
