POSITION OVERVIEW: • This position requires a general knowledge of construction activities and the ability to follow the direction of the site supervisor along with identifying occupational hazards involved and the safety precautions necessary to the operation of varied construction and maintenance activities. Work will consist of general labor and assisting and supporting Rig operator with daily routines and require the use of hand tools, and light equipment. SKILLS: • Be able to pass a pre-employment physical, obtain health card • Must possess valid driver’s license • Demonstrate safe work practices • Speak English • Be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly or more • Be able to work in extreme weather conditions • Assist in team lifting of 50 pounds or more • Be able to wear required personal protection equipment (steel toe shoes, hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, and or body harness) • Assist and support Rig operator with daily routines • Ensure the job site is clean of debris and secure before leaving • Obtain water and ice daily for the crew from Smyth source • Participate in pump crew Pre-Task Planning meetings on each project • Submit weekly time card.
