Description

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Walker Street in Marlborough was set to reopen Tuesday following a major infrastructure project. On Feb. 22, city crews shut down a small stretch of Walker Street between Route 85 and Framingham Road for a water main repair. The city announced the construction was wrapping up Tuesday, three weeks and one day after the initial shutdown. But Marlborough drivers should watch for another detour coming up later this week. For the third time in recent weeks, MassDOT will shut down the northbound I-495 Simarano Drive exit overnight beginning at 8 p.m. Thursday. The state is making repairs to the bridge at the exit. Traffic will be detoured northbound to exit 24B and then back south to the Simarano Drive exit.
