Elite Lawn and Landscape Inc. is seeking a full-time lawn care professional. We are a local company serving Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan for the past 24 years. Job responsibilities include the following: - Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and/or insecticides to lawns - Mix and measure pesticide quantities - Detailed record keeping and paperwork - Actively participate in training and continuing education thereafter - Test and obtain Pesticide Applicator's License - Maintain and repair company vehicles and other equipment - Plan daily routes and prioritize tasks - Work outdoors in inclement weather conditions, repetitious heavy lifting, walk long distances, and kneeling and/or squatting - Other duties include snow removal service The ideal team member will have the following: -Certification in Turf and/or Ornamental Pest Control - Motivated, self-starter with great work ethic - Excellent verbal communication with customers and other team members - Conduct themselves in a professional manner - Attention to detail - High aptitude for critical thinking and problem solving - High school graduate - Valid driver's license Benefits include the following: - Starting wage $13.00 to $18.00 per hour based on experience/history. Potential for advancement based on performance. - Vacation after 1 continuous year of employment - Assistance with uniforms and licensing - Industry training and education
