I am seeking old street photos from the 70's and 80's of a specific area in West Ridge. Ideally photos of California Avenue just south of Devon Avenue (6300 -block) looking north towards Devon Ave. As a reference point, Northwest Home for the Aged was here on the west side of the street at 6300 N. California Ave. for many years. Today, Astoria Place is here. On the east side of the street was (is) The Adams Apple described by the Chicago Reader as "A hippie general store selling everything from “tobacco accessories” and incense to T-shirts and posters". Just to be clear, I am interested in street photos looking north towards Devon from showing some of the around 6300 N. California. The addresses or establishments named above are just to be used a reference point. Any assistance you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
