Rainy Days Irrigation is seeking an Irrigation Service Technician. $17-25/hour Based on experience and production. Who We Are: Rainy Days has been serving the Triangle region since 1985. What an Irrigation Service Tech Does: - All aspects of excellent irrigation service, including: operating equipment, demolition, site and soil prep, grading, install and program controllers, wire connections, spring start-up and winter shut-downs, basic electrical knowledge, diagnose any issues in a system, track wire connections to valves, backflow connections and requirements, practice appropriate communication with clients, reading 811 markings, and any other duties as assigned. - Represents Rainy Days well while at work, operating all equipment, purchasing materials, and interacting with clients. Here’s What You Need: - Reliable transportation. - A minimum of 1 year of experience working in this field is a plus, as well as experience with the equipment we use and their proper maintenance. - Strong Communication Skills: Ability to listen and receive instructions from crew leader, learn from management, work well with others, and establish a professional, amicable relationships with Agape team members and clients. - General Knowledge of basic irrigation repair, installation and prep procedures, and of the operation of tools and equipment they require. - Willingness to work outside, in all four seasons. Physical fitness and able to lift or carry 35-80 pounds often. - Attention to detail and commitment to safety. - Dedication to adhere to and promote all Rainy Days standards, rules, and core values. - Great work ethic and motivation to work as a team player. - Professional Presentation: always dressed in company uniform, clean, and on time.
