PORT JEFFERSON, NY — Food is being collected in Port Jefferson through Saturday for The Port Jefferson Conservancy Food Drive. Canned food and non-perishable items can be dropped off at the Port Jefferson Village Center, at 101A East Broadway. The center is open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Food pantries are short in supply following the holidays, and local families need help, according to The Port Jefferson Conservancy.
