Moving to Texas

I didn't know if this is the right place to post this, but I'll give it a shot. I am moving to San Antonio early in September. I was planning to use a PODS or a UBox because I am not comfortable towing my car on a trailer, driving a truck. I thought if someone else was moving to Texas at the same time, we could work something out. The cost of shipping my one room (I rent a room) is 13 to 15 hundred dollars. That is a lot of money for a retiree. Even if it is not you, you may know someone who is moving there.
