Description
I have a saltwater Turbo snail here that I unfortunately cannot keep. I thought that I had gotten rid of them, but it turns out that my tank has a problem with pyramid snails. I had picked up this snail and his friend back in January, and the pyramid snails took out his buddy a few weeks ago. I've tried to be vigilant about rinsing them off of him when I see them, but I think that I just have a colony of them in my aquarium and it's not a safe place for a poor little Turbo snail to live. I have him separated out and living in a net right now to try to keep him safe and separated away from the pyramid snails. If you have any experience with saltwater snails and a tank without pests where he could live, please let me know - he's free to a good home, and I can drive him over and drop him off to you. I just really don't want to watch another snail die. He'd be a great little snail for anyone else's tank - he's really cute (the pictures don't do him justice), completely reef safe, and very prolific at cleaning up algae. He's been faring well so far, all things considered, but I know that if he stays in my tank his days are numbered.
