LONG BEACH, NY — Long Beach police say they are investigating a shooting that occurred in the city on Friday night. According to police, a call came in at 11:07 p.m. on March 11 for gunshots on Dogwood Court. When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot in his groin. The man was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of his wound. He is i stable condition, police say. Long Beach detectives are still investigating.
