Challenges to this doctrine may weaken the pastor’s and congregation’s understanding of the pastoral ministry and undermine the gospel itself. Such challenges are exacerbated when congregations and pastors find themselves in disagreement or conflict over parish practices and policies. This course offers a rejuvenation and deepening of the doctrine of the ministry in order to comfort the pastor and strengthen his service.
