1 Spectator Per BCPS Athlete Allowed Through March 19

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Fall sports are underway for Baltimore County Public Schools, but spectators are limited to one per athlete until March 19. Tickets currently are needed only for football, field hockey, soccer and volleyball games, and badminton matches. Paperless tickets can be bought using Ticket Spricket and cost $5 each plus a service fee. One ticket will be available for purchase via Ticket Spicket for each home and away participant. Coachesor athletic directors will give student-athletes their code so parents can purchase tickets to their athletic events. Parents must show their phone at the gate to redeem their ticket. Parents must not redeem the ticket prior to arriving at the gate. Starting Friday, the number of spectators for fall sports will be increased to 50 percent of venue capacity in alignment with new executive orders from Maryland's governor and Baltimore County's county executive. The increased number of spectators will not begin until March 19 to ensure that appropriate security and supervision can be coordinated. BCPS asks that all spectators abide by the following spectator expectations:• Face coverings are required at all times for the parent or guardian in attendance. Failure to adhere to the face covering guideline will result in removal from the contest.• The parent or guardian in attendance must practice social distancing. Failure to adhere to the social distancing guideline will result in removal from the contest.• There is to be no congregating at the field or in the stadium following the game. All parents are to meet their student back at the school.
