Nebraska Golf & Turf is looking for highly motivated individuals to become a golf car technician for our dealership. Automotive technicians welcome! This position requires the applicant to be skilled in preventative maintenance and general mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. Golf course experience a plus, but not required. Experience in troubleshooting small engines and trouble shooting electrical issues. Must have own tools to perform required tasks. Must have valid drivers license. Technician mechanic duties: maintain a clean and organized work space. Working knowledge of the operation of gasoline and electrical powered equipment. Knowledge and understanding of proper disposal and recycling techniques of various oils and compounds to adhere to local, state, and federal regulations. Ability to use common and special mechanical tools. Ability to communicate effectively and follow oral and written directions. Ability to lift and move heavy objects. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Must be a team player and maintain respectful working relationships with all members of the Nebraska Golf & Turf staff, as well as outside vendors and representatives.
