Mercado Artesanal/ Arts and Craft Market ¡Estamos de regreso! We invite you to our second Mercado Artesanal event since the pandemic began. This year's market will be an open-air setting on the parking lot near Macys at the Northridge Mall in Salinas. Discover unique and beautiful Mexican treasures of art, clothing, taxidermy, natural medical remedies, antiques, jewelry and more. Enjoy all Mexican traditional dishes that are made by all of our local food vendors. This cultural event will end with a spiritual ceremony lead by Yaocuauhtli Danza from Salinas along with groups ranging from all over California. MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING ARE MANDATORY AND REQUIRED FOR EVERYONE. THEY ARE TO BE WORN PROPERLY AT ALL TIMES. IF YOU DO NOT WEAR A MASK YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO SHOP WITH OUR VENDORS. Since its founding in 2003, Yaocuauhtli has been dedicated to strengthening the identity of the Mexican community by teaching knowledge and traditions of the ancestors to the new generations.
