SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police and unedited by Patch, all of last week's arrests: On March 8 at 6:10 a.m., in furtherance of an investigation being conducted by the Secaucus Police Detective Division in regards to an incident of motor vehicle theft that occurred at the Edison Park Fast located at 675 New County Road on Feb. 28, Secaucus Police responded to Newark, NJ and arrested a 24-year-old male, Jacob Raia of Newark, NJ for Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)] and Theft [2C:20-3A]. Mr. Raia was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail. On March 8 at 8:11 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 32-year-old male, Richard McLennon of Maplewood, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Annandale, NJ in the amount of $350. The Annandale Police Department did release Mr. McLennon on his own recognizance pending a future court date. Mr. McLennon was issued four motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody. On March 9 at 8:39 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 31-year-old male, Stanley Etkins of Irvington, NJ for two outstanding warrants issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $500 for each warrant with a 10% option for both. Etkins was able to post bail for both involved warrants, was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody. On March 9 at 9:47 a.m., Secaucus Police arrested a 32-year-old male, Hector Suarez of Secaucus, NJ at Secaucus Police Headquarters for Falsification of a Firearms Application [2C:39-10C]. Mr. Suarez was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody. On March 9 at 10:51 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 25-year-old male, James Smith of Jersey City, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ with no bail. Smith was issued two motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently transported to the Jersey City Police Department. On March 9 at 3:36 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 45-year-old male, Corey Fairley of Jersey City, NJ for one outstanding NCIC warrant issued by the Hudson County Sheriff's Office with no bail along with one outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ with no bail. The police also arrested a 47-year-old male, Robert Harris of Jersey City, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of East Orange, NJ in the amount of $1,000 with a 10% option. The East Orange Police Department did release Mr. Harris on his own recognizance pending a future court date and he was released from police custody. Officer's from the Hudson County Sheriff's Office responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to take custody of Mr. Fairley. Mr. Fairley was issued five motor vehicle summonses and custody was transferred to the Hudson County Sheriff's Office. On March 10 at 3:14 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 35-year-old female, Racquel Commissiong of Newark, NJ for two outstanding warrants issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $250 and $500, both with 10% options, and one outstanding warrant issued out of Ridgefield Park, NJ in the amount of $60. Both the Newark Police Department and the Ridgefield Park Police Department did release Ms. Commissiong on her own recognizance pending a future court date. Ms. Commissiong was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and she was released from police custody. On March 10 at 11:19 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 30-year-old female, Karol Santos Santana of Philadelphia, PA for one outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office with no bail. Ms. Santana was issued two motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently transported to the Middlesex County Jail. On March 10 at 6:50 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 36-year-old male, Jason England of New York, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)].
