Join Keep Mississippi Beautiful for our 2021 Great American Cleanup State Kickoff in partnership with Keep Jackson Beautiful.
Keep America Beautiful’s Great American Cleanup, the nation’s largest community improvement program, continues to grow in strength, scope and human dimension. More than 5 million volunteers mobilize each year in more than 20,000 communities (including communities right here in Mississippi) to make lasting, visible change in their communities.
This year we have an exciting State Great American Cleanup planned with Mississippi’s First Lady, Elee Reeves kicking off our State Great American Cleanup, as we partner with Keep Jackson Beautiful on the steps of our Mississippi State Capitol, Thursday, April 8th.
Keep Mississippi Beautiful honors individuals and organization throughout Mississippi who are making a difference and this year we can’t think of a better way than to have our First Lady present these awards on the steps of our State Capital. Having these two events linked together will show how a hands-on approach to community improvement serves as a catalyst for ongoing civic engagement and promotes personal responsibility.
