Job Description Olsson’s Fine Foods is a leader in specialty food (cheese, catering, etc…) in Princeton NJ. We are looking for a motivated individual to help drive our growth. This is a hands-on role, as we do a lot in 800 square feet, and the position is responsible for wide-ranging duties. We need an energetic, detail oriented, and flexible individual who thrives on variety and loves food. General Job Description: · Responsible for sales generation, exceptional product knowledge, food safety, quality control, and merchandising of specialty cheese products. .Take customer orders and produce sandwich orders to specification, light cooking required. Cut, wrap and prepare customer cheese orders. Refill and maintain the sales floor. · Provide excellent customer service and sharing product information with team members and customers about specialty cheeses, product pairings, recipes, and meal solutions · Ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and produce a quality output while working within set deadlines. Maintain quality while quickly taking care of customer orders. · Showcase creative abilities by producing beautiful cheeseboards to meet the customer needs. · Light cleaning and cooking required, some customer service and cash handling experience is required. The ideal candidate will have customer service, order taking, food service and/ or cheese monger experience. Will train the right candidate, but must love cheese! Cheese Monger Experience is a big plus since that is our main business and areas for growth. We are looking for a long term employee for a year-round position. Hours are variable with availability from 10am-6pm week days and weekends required. Part- time/ Full- Time Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: Up to $15.00 per hour COVID-19 considerations:All employees are required to wear a face mask at all times while working.
