Group Metals is hiring.immeditaely. Looking for a reliable, hard worker for a career in the scrap metal industry. This is a position for an individual that has attention to detail and good work ethic. Local candidates are preferred.
Responsibilities:
Performing manual labor
Acquire knowledge of materials, including Ferrous or Non-Ferrous
Verifies and separates materials according to type, place materials in bins, loads
Interact with customers
Organizes and/or cleans warehouse
May operate light to heavy equipment; includes bobcat, forklift, bailer, loader, trucks, etc.
Works with all safety guidelines and requirements
QUALIFICATIONS/WORKING CONDITIONS
Experience preferred, but not necessary, handle a hot or cold work enviroment
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work overtime as necessary.
Safety - required, work booots, and gloves
Hours of Opertation M-F 7 am to 4:30 pm and Saturday's 7:30 to 11:30
This position requires full range of motion standing, walking for long periods of time
