LITTLETON, CO — The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office launched a new online public portal that offers residents easier access to important documents. The new portal is more user-friendly and less expensive than the old portal, officials said. The updated webpages allow residents to: Access public recordsPay traffic citations and finesPay for concealed handgun permitsPay for civil and court processes Arapahoe County residents can also check the real-time status of their request. The average service fee for public records is now $2 per transaction, compared to the old fee of $8. The average service fee for a citation is less than $4, compared to the old fee of $8. The fee reductions will save the public more than $8,000 in 2021, the sheriff's office said. Like what you're reading?
