Promoting health and wellness among Long Beach Black residents to reduce COVID-19 impact, risks factors and mortality The April Parker Foundation, in partnership with Project Optimism and Agape Children's Museum, is excited to provide COVID-19 Take Care Kits to Black/African American Long Beach residents. These kits are designed to promote health and wellness among Long Beach Black/ African American residents to reduce COVID-19 impact, risks factors, and mortality. AP Take Care Kit – The April Parker Foundation is providing kits that include a handheld inferred thermometer, disposable black masks, sanitizing wipes, hand sanitizer, and self-care products by EDEN BodyWorks, Inc - a Black Owned all-natural hair and skincare brand. For more information about project Optimism visit www.ProjectOptimism.org Agape Children’s Museum is providing kits containing Corona and the Glitter - a book written by Marsha Lynn Bullock , a Long Beach Author and Educator, children’s activities and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
