Join Savannah Tree Foundation for an educational walk through the City of Savannah's largest urban forest--Bacon Park Forest! Hidden behind the parking lot of the Bacon Park Tennis Courts is the entrance to one of Savannah's best secrets--Bacon Park Forest! This 43-acre maritime forest houses seven distinct habitat zones, home to a diversity of hardwood species. This walk will identify many of the plant and animal species that make up the forest's amazing ecosystem, just steps from suburban Savannah.
