Planet Pascale, LLC is a small family-run business creating and maintaining fine gardens in the Greater Boston area for over 30 years. We emphasize artistry and sustainability in design and installation together with detailed and knowledgeable garden maintenance. We use organic methods and confront changes in climate using combinations of native plants and new species and techniques. We pride ourselves on close relationships to our clients. We are seeking thoughtful people with an interest in gardens and a willingness to work hard. This position will be responsible for: General Manual Labor for New Installation Projects Assisting with Installation of Landscape Masonry/Hardscapes Excavation and Soil Amendments Delivering Plant Material and Planting Spring and Fall Clean-Ups and Mulching of Gardens May assist occasionally with maintenance and other duties as necessary. Candidates must have excellent communication skills and have a strong desire to learn about such areas as landscape masonry, soil conditions, general plant care, as well as sustainable practices. Candidates must be able to follow instructions while still being able to employ creative, independent ideas. We would appreciate someone with some experience but are willing to train the right candidates. We are looking for someone who can work at a fast pace with attention to detail and lift material up to 50lbs. The successful candidate will also have a valid Massachusetts Driver’s License. This is a full-time seasonal position. We offer a professional, but fun and close-knit environment, along with competitive pay, paid holidays, paid sick time and training. Pay will start between $17 and $20 per hour depending on experience. COVID-19 considerations: We have a strict "one person per vehicle" policy during the pandemic. Employees using their own vehicle are compensated based on Dept. of Labor guidelines.
