Felix A. Marino Co., Inc., a family owned pavement maintenance company for over 70 years in Peabody, MA, is looking for a motivated Diesel Mechanic with a minimum of three years experience. Full-time opening with competitive pay and benefits including a 401(k) plan. Applicant should reside within a 45-minute commute of the Peabody area. Knowledge, skill, abilities: • Preventive maintenance/ repairs in a safe, efficient, timely and cost effective manner. • Ability to work with other mechanics/technicians as well as other employees • Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment failures. • Repairing and maintaining diesel and gasoline engines. • Adjusting and repairing ignition, fuel, electrical, hydraulic, and air systems. • Maintaining and repairing chassis, frames and bodies; welding (Oxy/Acetylene, ARC/MIG). • Working with hoisting and jacking equipment, power tools, measuring instruments, gauges and meters. • Familiar with medium/light duty trucks and machinery (loaders, skid steer, rollers and forklifts). • Maintaining and repairing tires, batteries, brakes, transmissions and emission systems. • Should have own hand tools, specialty tools to be provided at shop • Assist with facility maintenance and repairs. • Driver’s License (Required), CDL Class A or B Learn more about our company at www.famco.us.
