Campaign is hiring canvassers for hourly paid positions ($18 an hour). Petition canvassing will happen at high-traffic outdoor spaces to engage voters and collect signatures in order to get a New York City candidate on the ballot. Ideal applicants will be highly organized and accountable self-starters who excel with person-to-person contact. All activity will be done safely with PPE. Responsibilities Engage and collect signatures from registered NYC voters Effectively communicate campaign message Work a full shift (shifts are 11am-8pm, 11am-4pm, 3-8pm) Meet daily goals Travel to various locations throughout the city Qualifications Ability to work within a team and independently Detail oriented and highly organized Prior canvassing experience, ideally w/ collecting signatures Bilingual is a plus Requirements Must be at least 18 and a registered Democrat in the state of New York COVID-19 Considerations This job requires you to interact with the public outdoors and indoors.
