Description
A Brooklyn campaign is looking for canvassers, people to help collect signatures for our petition. For a candidate to appear on the ballot, they have to get a certain number of voters to sign their petitions. That is where you come in. Engage your fellow Democrats ensuring that we have adequate choices on the ballot. You will be expected to interact regularly, face-to-face with voters.
We are looking for registered Democrats in New York State, aged 18+ years old to:
*carry petitions,
*collect signatures, and
*represent the candidate with an upbeat positive attitude.
You would go door-to-door, to grocery stores, outside subway stations, and other high traffic areas to ask voters to sign the petition.
The days are flexible, we are paying $15-20+ an hour.
Pay will be weekly.
This job runs through March 23rd.
Experience preferred but not required.
Masks are required.
