MAHWAH, NJ — The Recreation Department has plans for an Easter celebration, but the coronavirus has forced some changes. A "Meet the Bunny" drive-by event is scheduled for March 27 from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Municipal Building, 475 Corporate Dr. You'll be able to wave hello to the Easter Bunny, and even take some pictures, but all of it will have to be done from your car. There will also be nothing handed out at the event due to COVID-19 concerns, the department said. No rain date has been established. So hope for clear skies, because if it's canceled, it's canceled.
