Do you love to sing harmonies? Do you have a strong lead voice too? We are a full show band with guitar, bass, drums and sax, and a line-up of four frontline singers in need of a top tenor. You will need to be comfortable singing tight harmonies, and there will also be ample opportunities for you to rotate leads with the other singers as well. The music we focus on is from '50s and early '60s: doo wop, R&B and early rock'n'roll. We have played lots of outdoor events from Hartford to Springfield, as well as club dates, hot rod shows, river cruises, private events, and several showcase concerts sponsored by the New England Doo Wop Society. But we are more than just singers and musicians, we are a true show band, so there will also be some simple choreography involved too. Rehearsals are held in Newton, NH (off 495, right across the border from MA). Like most groups, we've been mostly dormant for the past year, but with better times appearing on the horizon, we are getting ready to regroup as soon as it's safe to do so. That means there will be plenty of time for you to learn your parts without pressure, so that once gig opportunities begin opening up again, we'll be rarin' to go!
