Helping all First Responders smash the stigma of asking for help!
First Responders often arrive first on the scene and provide life-saving care under dangerous, high-pressure, and exhausting conditions. Upon successful rescue, many first responders are the first to reach out to disaster survivors to provide both physical and emotional support. Despite their dedication to serve, the range and severity of occupational stressors faced by first responders put them at a higher risk of developing mental health and substance use disorders than the rest of the population. There are resources and strategies that are available.
