Description

CONCORD, NH — Concord fire and rescue teams were sent to an apartment building in Downtown Concord for a possible code gray call on Tuesday. At 11:45 a.m., dispatch received a call about a person inside an apartment at Mennino Place on Storrs Street who appeared to have died. Concord police were also called to check the body and firefighters were asked to stage for police — meaning, wait for them to clear the area of any possible dangers. Officers were sent into the apartment, reported that it appeared as if the person had died, and cleared firefighters to enter the apartment. At just after noon, EMTs confirmed the person had died. An ambulance stayed behind while an engine cleared the area. Police are investigating the death currently and the medical examiner has been requested to the apartment.
